Say Hello to girlsminister.com
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Because Girlsministry is more than just pink and tiaras---JOIN THE CONVERSATION that is going on at www.girlsminister.com.
The Girlsminister.com team is excited to announce that the new girlsminister resource and conversation blog has begun. Girlsminister.com seeks to shape the conversation of how to minister to girls by being an opensource community. The team starting this conversation consists of moms, girls ministers from the US and even the UK, teenage girls, and women leaders who have a heart for girls.
If you are interested in being a part of the BETA SOCIAL NETWORK, go to www.girlsminister.com and click the box at the bottom right that says "JOIN THE SOCIAL". The Conversation is going on...don't miss out!

Pfunky griddle

Today Darrel and I tried out a new to us restaurant that I have been hearing about. It's called The Pfunky Griddle. We are officially adding it to our list of places we like to eat. Love it. It has a griddle-in the-middle of each table. The owner seated us and was super sweet to tell us her faves and then after we were done it started raining so hard. We had already paid but the owner told us we could gran some coffee and wait out the storm. I felt like I was visiting as friends house.

An Easter prayer experience...
Click here for the easterprayerexperience document
Today was a unique morning with our students at Brentwood Baptist. Because it was spring break, we didn't know how many students would show up so we did some different things since we knew we would have a smaller group. We started out with a video from the skit guys which was awesome. It is a great video that takes you through some of the moments Jesus had personally with people on the way to the cross. It ended with the question: Will you make it personal? Immediately we launched into a baptism with Jesse Hamilton who wanted to make it personal this morning. Then I briefly taught and set up the prayer experience. During this time, we had a student who decided he wanted to make it personal as well and he accepted Christ. Some of our students wanted to have the prayer experience to take home, so I thought I would share it with you as well. Enjoy. And may you take a moment to pause and reflect on what this week means to you. Happy Holy Week.
